New Restaurant and Piano Bar Sets to Bring Elevated Classics to Montrose/River Oaks

The Kennedy will energize West Dallas Street with a refined menu of American small plates and a sophisticated, yet comfortable lounge experience 

HOUSTON, TX – June 19, 2024 – The Kennedy, a restaurant and piano bar conceptualized by Ninety3 Hospitality Group owner and native Houstonian Andres Q Castro, is set to bring refined, classic cuisine in an elevated, cocktail lounge experience to Montrose/River Oaks.

Located near the intersection of West Dallas Street and Waugh Drive, the restaurant and piano bar will partner with Prime Meat Markets to bring premium cuts of meat incorporated into small shareable plates paired with a range of hand-crafted cocktails, an impressive, international wine and champagne list, creative mocktails, and more. The 7,000+ square foot space, anchored by a central, indoor bar and dual-sided fireplace, will feature a warm and cozy design mixed with plush, intimate seating vignettes, banquettes and sofas built for conversation. An expansive, two-floor outdoor space will create an indoor-outdoor connection suited for multiple guest experiences. Well-appointed, shaded outdoor patios will create the perfect ambiance to comfortably enjoy Houston’s milder months and evenings, while the indoor space will offer additional reprieve.

The Kennedy will feature a variety of live music performers each week including singers, pianists, and late-night lounge DJs. In addition, the restaurant and lounge will offer an all-day food menu of American classics utilizing premium ingredients to pair with the cocktail service by Chef Adriana Maldonado. Guests can expect light to medium-sized shareable plates to include wagyu beef tartare, foie gras, a wagyu smash burger, caviar service, Kobe beef selections, and more.

The Kennedy will open 6 days a week with lunch to late-night service. Brunch is planned on the weekends.

Joshua Weisman of Construction Concepts has partnered with The Kennedy to complete the interior build out in time to open in late summer.
